Each year, hunters around the country spend billions of dollars on hunting gear, feed, and fuel to enjoy their little piece of personal paradise. Whether that is a 1,000 acre ranch you manage, the old family farm, the sacred public hunting grounds, or a lease you were lucky enough to land, you want to make sure that you are doing everything possible to benefit the wildlife in your area, and hopefully you’ll get to tag the trophy of your dreams as a reward! When you spend all that time and hard earned money to enjoy the great outdoors, you want to make sure your gear is the best on the market. And when you think of some of the best gear on the market, you should think of just two words: Boss Buck!
Boss Buck makes some of the highest quality, dependable, user-friendly, and versatile feeders and deer blinds on the market. Boss Buck produces durable, light-weight, high capacity feeders that can convert from an automatic spin cast feeder to a protein feeder in the matter of minutes! Now that’s a great double shot! Their cutting edge design and efficiency is truly second to none. The feeders are portable and ridiculously easy to assemble. Once you check out their products, you’ll be buying Boss Buck products…trust me. I first learned about Boss Buck when I visited an online Hunting Forum and asked the question: “What deer feeders do you guys recommend?” While there were many familiar names that were mentioned, the one that everyone agreed on, and voted most favorably for, was the Boss Buck feeders. I had heard about them before, but hadn’t seen their feeders in person. I went to a local feed store near one of the ranches I manage, and took a look at the 350# automatic spin feeder. My first thought was, “finally, someone has made a light weight, high end, extremely durable feeder – for a really reasonable price!” Then the salesman showed me how easy it was to convert the automatic feeder to a protein feeder. To top it off, he showed me the varmint cage and solar panel, and where the feeder had been pre-tapped to fit them. Game. Set. Match. “Load it up in that truck, compadre – I’m taking it to the ranch today.” It was the last one they had. The feed store had just sold three other feeders earlier that morning, or I would have bought those, too! The one thing that I forgot to purchase in my excitement was the feeder feet, so the legs wouldn’t sink into the ground, unevenly. It only took one good rain to make my 350# feeder look like the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Not wanting to disturb the area during deer season, I left it alone. It turned out to be quite the conversation piece though! I was already late in upgrading my other feeders for last hunting season, as I spent most of time at home with my newborn and family than in the field, so I decided to wait until the season ended to finish replacing all our dilapidated feeders with the Boss Buck line. I did take advantage of all the feeder assemblies and parts to replace the archaic ones that only sometimes worked in our old feeders. That did the trick for the season, but I knew with all the time and money I invest in our wildgame management operations, I needed to have the best products in the field. So now, I’ve been replacing all our old feeders with new Boss Buck feeders. I’ve been clearing brush to get some key spots open to put in some additional feeders in new areas as well. After I started getting my new Boss Buck feeders in place, I started to eye-ball some of those old deer blinds that have provided great memories, but unfortunately had seen better years….many years ago! Once you start to get superior products on the ground, it seems like that desire just snowballs. I remembered seeing some of the specs for the Boss Buck Comfort Zone Deer Blinds, and after doing some more research and reading all the stellar reviews, it was clear that I needed to start making preparations in my pocketbooks for a couple Comfort Zone Blinds. These polyethylene blinds are easy to assemble, maintenance free, extremely durable, and extremely affordable. Those are all good checks on my list! And with managing two ranches, those are very important factors in what I will buy. You want to get the most for your money, and I think you will find that when you purchase Boss Buck products, you get MORE than what you paid for. I also have to mention their staff, because I find it is very rare to find a company that really cares about their customer service as much as their products. The folks at Boss Buck have been incredibly helpful when I’ve had questions about their products and the tons of accessories they carry for their feeders. So, the bottom line is this: when you are looking for a new automatic feeder, a protein feeder, a road/atv feeder, an incredible deer blind, feeder controls, or other parts for your feeders, you’ve got to check out BossBuck.com – and when it comes to time for the hunt, you be the Boss! www.BossBuck.com ~George Blitch www.MapMyRanch.com Here’s a few pictures of some of our visitors at our first Boss Buck 350# automatic feeder:

14 days and there's still ice!!!!At the end of March, our daughter had her first birthday party, and we going to a venue that didn't have an ice maker. knowing that we needed to keep those incredible Blue Bell Ice Cream Sandwiches frozen, I elected to bring out the Brute! We loaded our 100qt cooler full of ice. We scooped out enough to put all of the ice cream on one side of the divider and some Capri Suns and waters on the other. The ice cream stayed frozen the entire day…which was miraculous and very appreciated by all.
When we got home the ice cream still hadn't melted and the drinks were ridiculously cold!!! I unloaded what was left in the fridge and freezer. Then, I decided this would be a great time to "test" our 100qt cooler. I put two beers in the cooler, and left the divider in place. I opened the cooler every day to check on the process. On the 13th day, I still had lots of ice in the cooler. I was amazed! I was on the way to the ranch for the day, so I took that ice and loaded it up in our Brute 25qt, and used it for the trip there and back. When I got home, I still had ice left. That's 14 days!!! I was already a fan of Brute, and had trusted the coolers with the meat we took home from hunting trips, but I had never really done "the test" with our Brute. Needless to say, my family was amazed. And I was reminded once again that when buy the right thing once, it pays off forever! Thanks, Brute Outdoors! You really do make the best coolers on the market! Now, it's time for my wife and I to enjoy those two ice cold beers on the back porch!!! |
